Who we are?

Founded in 2016, Actors Lab is a professional training centre based in Palma de Mallorca. We offer actors of all levels the opportunity to enrol in rigorous training programs and access to industry connections around the world.

We pride ourselves on our dedication to helping each and every actor achieve their fullest potential, as well as creating a community of people that have gone on to build a career in the dramatic arts.

Our guest directors, both established and up-and-coming, provide invaluable insights into the craft of acting and the entertainment industry as a whole. Graduates of Actors Lab Mallorca have secured roles on some of the biggest screens in the world, such as Netflix, Amazon and the BBC.

Oliver Torr – Acting Teacher.

I have been teaching acting for 18 years now. Along the way I have worked with hundreds of actors who have gone on to make careers on stage and in front of the camera (quite a few in Hollywood). My specialty is giving all students the ability to identify and improve their own talent. Every single actor is unique, every single actor is different and I treat everyone who attends class this way.

From mastering Shakespeare and the classics to getting to the emotion that the directors will want to see, we can do it all.

I work with beginners through to professional working actors. My job is to make your job easier, to get those auditions and be totally prepared, which emotions to use, how to approach the character vocally and physically.
I have been working at the highest level of actor training for nearly two decades and my goal is to make non-actors into actors and good actors into great actors.

I am a classically trained actor, with a Masters degree in directing. Techniques I use include Strasberg, Meisner, Meyerhold, Grotowski, Suzuki, SITI and Linklater. I teach in English, Castellano and German. I understand flexibility is important therefore I offer regular classes, one on ones, audition specific and intensives. I have taught actors, opera singers, classical musicians and dancers. My focus is on living the character as much as possible in the most efficient way possible.
